Government Rebates
The Australian Government is currently offering a healthy Rebate off the cost of new Solar Systems.
Home Solar Systems are Grid Connected. This means any surplus power your system generates is fed back to the electricity grid. In Queensland you receive a minumin of 44c and to 52c per kw from your electricity retailer. This is known as the Feed-in Tariff and is set in Legislation by the Queensland Government until year 2028.
